Death toll from Bulgarian roads higher than American casualties in Iraq
With the passing of the last day of 2008, the death toll from road accidents in Bulgaria reached 1059, which was 53 more people compared with a year ago, according to a bulletin issued by the Interior Ministry, cited by Dnevnik daily. The number of all injured people was 9923, out of which 8031 were involved in car accidents.
